Completed Project Overview for JMS Energy: Amsterdam Solar in Amsterdam, NY

JMS Energy proudly collaborated with Soltec on a comprehensive solar energy installation project, providing a full range of services to ensure the successful integration of photovoltaic (PV) technology. Our team started by installing sturdy concrete pads to support key infrastructure and then moved to install ground rings, a crucial component to ensure the system’s proper grounding and electrical safety.

One of the more intricate parts of the project involved pulling cables throughout the expansive solar array. This task required precision and attention to detail, as the cables serve as the lifeblood of the PV system, transmitting energy from the solar panels to the grid. Once the cabling was in place, our team expertly handled the interconnection of PV panels, seamlessly integrating them into the array.

In addition to this, JMS Energy installed combiner boxes, which play a vital role in consolidating the output from multiple strings of PV panels before feeding it into the inverter for conversion. We ensured the interconnection and underground pad work were executed efficiently, meeting all project deadlines and ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability.
